Genre DECISION

 Hello bloggers, my name is Jose Retana and I am finally revealing the genre I chose for my opening sequence. 

I choose the Psychological Thriller genre. 

It was close between this and the drama genre, but I enjoy how this genre incorporates plot twists, while also having aspects of the drama genre. It leaves a lasting impact while being more rich in story. It's unique and it has a good camera angle/mis-en-scene selection.

Production Blog- Testing Around with CapCut

My name is Jose Retana, and I will be talking about editing my commercial today. As of this moment, I have not started but I have my video and pictures ready. The editing platform I will be using to edit my commercial will be CapCut. The reason I did not choose any other editing application was because most cost money (such as Ae), or they are too complicated (such as AlightMotion). Additionally, CapCut provides mobile support for editing on the go, which I find convenient. My teacher also recommended CapCut for the editing of this commercial, so it's probably best that I listen. My problem with using CapCut, though, is that I have minimal experience. So, I will be asking my sibling for some help because he is actually decently experienced at using the editing platform. Production Blog: Final Changes

Hello bloggers, my name is Jose Retana and today I will be wrapping up my production. Continuing on from the last blog, I ultimately did decide to change the song choice. I also chose Lofi to replace it, I know kind of lame but cool to me. Here is the YouTube link to the video, I'm going to choose the first song by the way. I decided on going with just having text pop up whenever I need it to, like when I'm showing an image on the screen. I almost redid the entire video with that move to make it a little more creative.
