Production Blog- Captioning Photos

My name is Jose Retana, and I will be talking about my experience with producing my commercial so far. Today I will mainly try to focus on captioning because I believe it covers a lot of story and it's best to know what you're looking at. The reason I talk about this so much here though, is because this is mainly what will be explaining myself. I will talk about my thought process in each of the image's captioning. Let's move onto the first image now. So, my first image was a simple point-at-the-mirror type of selfie of myself. I added this picture somewhere in the intro (still figuring out), and my main reason for this picture being here was to introduce what I look like. When I was captioning this, I needed to tell the viewer what was going on. So, I captioned it: "Introduction to what I look like, 5'9, Hispanic, and one of my hobbies is playing basketball", and with a cool little emoji at the end. That was the most straightforward caption I could think of, and by the way, I chose the "Blod" font on Capcut. It's simple, plain, and straightforward just like the caption. For my second image, this image was a selfie of me and my little brother. He's three, and I chose this image because I love my siblings, especially him, and I thought it would tell a lot about me. I believe you can tell a lot about a person just by looking at if they have siblings or not, because if you're an only child you kind of have that stereotype that you're spoiled. Anyways back to the caption, I went simple again and said, "Me and one of my two siblings, he's three and loves Spider-Man like me." I added another cool emoji and threw in the Spider-Man part because both him and me love Spider-Man. I was also wearing a shirt of him in the selfie, so I thought it would be perfect. For my final image, I wanted to throw in a past image to show what I looked like before my long hair. In the selfie, I'm on the upper side of the image, my three-year-old sibling to the down of me, and my other sibling, who is 12, to the right of the selfie. Captioning this, I said basically nothing more than that, and of course, I added the cool emoji at the end. Now that I'm done with captioning, my next goal is to focus on things I missed, like the extra titles I still need to make or the list of the items at the end. Also, I haven't captioned the video, so I will start with that next blog so that I can start and finish my review on the last production blog I will do. Finally, if you were wondering what my captioning looks like for my images, I have gathered a piece of media here. I cannot promise that I will use this template after I finish editing, but I have stuck to it for now. Here:
