Production Blog: Final Changes
Hello bloggers, my name is Jose Retana and today I will be wrapping up my production. Continuing on from the last blog, I ultimately did decide to change the song choice. I also chose Lofi to replace it, I know kind of lame but cool to me. Here is the YouTube link to the video, I'm going to choose the first song by the way. Credit to sheprays on YouTube.

Other than that, I scrapped the caption format I talked about a few blogs earlier and decided on another. I decided on going with just having text pop up whenever I need it to, like when I'm showing an image on the screen. I almost redid the entire video with that move to make it a little more creative. It's kind of hard to imagine that, so let me try to describe my commercial in depth because I've done a lot of final changes and I am pretty much finished.
When you open the commercial, you're greeted with a title "My Production Blog" with an animated font. While the title is being showcased, there is a video of me in the background from a low angle walking to the camera. This was all shot in the dark by the way, it's really cool with the lighting. When I approach the camera the video changes and shows a wide/long shot of me playing basketball. It's from a distance and my phone was in the sideline bench recording from there, so it's kind of far away. I'm pretty much playing basketball on the background in the dark for the duration of the remaining commercial. While this happens, I added a voiceover on the video of my voice that narrates the commercial. I talk about myself, my life, my hobbies, all of it. I tried to not make it too long, so I cut out a lot of recording. What I did for the pictures was I would just fade in the image over the video of me playing ball in the background whenever I needed to show it. I faded in and out three times, and I did add captions. The captions would be present through the whole video, like I inserted captions to my voiceover so you could see what I say. At the end I made sure to put in a credit page to the song and a list of items. I think everything turned out really well, and that is a full description of my commercial. I say it's done, but I might review it a few days later a see it.
Anyways, that's it bloggers, see you in my commercial.
