Production: Plans Shapeshifting + Technical Difficulties

Hello, my name is Jose Retana. We are back with another blog again. As you noticed by the title, there's been a slight change of plans. It's nothing that huge, just the recording schedule has taken a slight change. Recording has officially moved to the 21st-23rd of this month. Last week, I had scheduled it towards the 15th and I did record some, but it was based off unfinished storyboard slides so I had to scrap it. I have started some type of footage nowadays though.

Enough about plan changes, let's move onto the technical things I mentioned last blog. These past few days have been me trying to figure out how on earth I will turn a video into an mp3 file. One of the main problems I had was that I was on iPhone. I'm pretty sure that made the learning process 10x harder. I'm a lazy person, I don't like to learn things that take over an hour. It may seem easy to you, but I literally had to go through three different YouTube videos through this process. I did learn, but after had learned how to turn a video into an mp3 file, I saw that there was a CONVERTER online that if I used it would have taken me less. I could have saved so many hours, I did it the extra long way for no reason. Anyways, I needed to do this because when I tried it, it was the only thing that would embed and be put onto Blogger for some reason. Other than that, I have to start filming for real.

This week has been just experimenting with what can be done to improve the storyline. That is what I'm doing right now. I realized that my storyboard wasn't a full story, so I'm looking to change that and make it a continuous story by the time I start recording. That is what I will be doing the next few days before recording. It's important to me that I turn in the best work I possibly can. I believe that continuous modifications, reflecting on what I have, and continue to improve it to make it as best as it can be is what is essential before saying this project is finished. I won't stop either until it's the best, the storyboard you saw a week ago is not going to be the final result. Modifications and improvement will perfect this project. So, the next time I see you will be in the next production blog, which will finally discuss recording deeper. That's it bloggers, see you.
