Research Blog: Music Video Conventions
Hello, my name is Jose Retana and I'm back with another blog. Today, I'll be examining the conventions in my music video. The song I chose is Pluto Projector by Rex Orange County. Here is the music video for reference:

Let's start off by identifying anything that is not sound like camera angles and props:
- (Entire video, God's eye view of a music disc)
- (Entire video, continuous rotating disc with a setup prop)
- (Entire video, notepad prop, music video singer picture)
Next, sound. (Lyrics aren't generally considered voiceover, hence why I don't include that)
- (3:00 to 3:56, the repeated instrumental is a sound motif that adds a sweet tone to the song)
- (0:54, sound bridge/musical bridge, became more upbeat, used to show the time passing)
- (Entire video, ambient sound, and vocals behind the singer)
